Automatic Transmission

The tag is attached to the lower servo cover bolt. It indicates the model code, assembly part number, build date and serial number (C3 only).

ASSEMBLY PART NUMBER

First Digit indicates decade of manufacture (D = 1970's)
Second Digit indicates year of manufature (5 = 1975)
Third Digit indicates car line: (Z = Mustang)
Fourth Digit indicates division (P = Transmission and
Chassis Division - Automatic Transmission)
