| Net News - King Cobra sells for $17,000 |
| Following on the heels of the $15,000 Cobra II, on September 3rd, 2001, the Auburn 2001 Classic Car Auction was held on Ebay. Amoung the cars was a 1978 King Cobra, identified as an all original car. The final bid on the King Cobra was $17,000. Though the descripton, seen below, describes the engine as a 351, it was more than likely confused with the standard 302. The car was located in Auburn, Indiana. |
